Paulo J. R. Pereira is an international relations researcher. He was a Visiting Researcher at Ottawa University (2017-2018). He is part of the Revista Platô: Drogas e Políticas editorial board since 2017. He was an ad hoc researcher at the Brazilian Drug Policy Platform (2021). He currently studies drug policies in the American continent, especially the new cannabis regulations. Paulo is an author of articles on drug policy, violence and capitalism as well as drug policy assessment.
